Ask About Medicines Awards for Excellence – Winners Announced

The winners and runners up of the Ask About Medicines Awards for Excellence 2007 were announced by Dr Sheila Shribman, National Director for Children at the Department of Health, at a presentation ceremony held in Westminster on Thursday 28 June 2007.

There were over 45 entries to the Awards and the standard of entries was extremely high. Entries to the six categories were received from PCTs, local health boards, individual GP practices, pharmaceutical companies, voluntary organisations and health charities.

A panel of 22 prestigious judges assessed the entries.

The Ask About Medicines Awards for Excellence were developed in partnership with the Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry (ABPI). We would like to thank the Patient Information Forum (PiF) for supporting the launch of the awards at conference and for the organisations who sponsored or supported each of the categories (acknowledged below).
