CancerBACUP has put together a guide to help patients and their carers get the best from their chemotherapy and cancer medicines. Divided into three sections: Thinking about treatment, Choosing treatment and Taking treatment, this booklet contains a series of sample questions that patients can ask their healthcare team to better understand their treatment.

New Epilepsy Booklet Published
The National Society for Epilepsy has developed a new booklet designed for older patients newly diagnosed with epilepsy.25% of people diagnosed with epilepsy are aged 60 years or older and historically there has been little information designed specifically for these people. MHRA Leaflet on Side Effects
In December 2005 The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) published a new leaflet entitled “Taking Medicines – some questions & answers about side effects” to help patients make informed decisions about their medicines.
